How to make the most of your images.
Proofs.
A 5x7 professional print on quality photo paper of every shot edited from your session. These proofs are great to have in hand for a keepsake, for larger scale print selection (by family or yourself), and for album creation. There is just something about holding a photograph that changes the way you see what was photographed.
Whole session set — $50
Albums & canvas.
All of your favorite images from a session culminated in a professional album is a great way to create a story with the images that were created while capturing this moment in your life. You can select the images that are included in the album, color and style of the album, and I will take care of the design! We can also work together to create a work of art by combining a few large prints for your home. If you have an idea or a space that you would like styled, please contact me and we can work together to make the perfect fit.
Cost is dependent upon personal preferences
Time.
Time can make the biggest difference to your experience. I do my best to prepare you and teach you how to pose and where to look during your session . . . but sometimes, time is always your friend. It’s just like a sport, practice makes perfect, and the more time you spend in front of the camera, the more comfortable you will be! You also guarantee more images in return!
Adding time — $50/hour

Frequently asked questions.
Is it worth it?
Absolutely! I don’t know anyone that regrets booking a session with any photographer. The ONLY time I see this happen is if the photographer that was chosen does not produce the style that you are looking for as a client. PLEASE BOOK THE STYLE YOU LOVE!!!
What colors go together?
Your welcome packet will have a color story included showing you what colors go and what colors clash. I ALWAYS recommend to “go” with the other people or animals in your session, don’t match. Aesthetically, when you blend colors and patterns it is much more pleasing to the eye, than to all wear the same color shirt or all wear super bright clashing colors.
What if I lose my images?
I always recommend to back your own high resolution downloads up in a couple of different places on your end, and I do the same on mine. I also recommend that you purchase a USB drive and/or your proofs to help keep the session saved in multiple places and ways. I have a system where I have the raw images from camera saved in one location, then I have the edited images saved in two different locations in case something were to happen. I can’t guarantee that I will have EVERY image available for recovery, but I do my best to keep them on my end as well.
What do I wear?
Whatever you want and are comfortable in! I always tell people to wear what they feel beautiful and comfortable in for their shoot. It always creates for beautiful images when the client is comfortable. Dress for the style session that you want in return, and dress for your location! If we are in a horse pasture, you may not want to wear heels :).
How do I pay for my session?
I take cash, check, or debit/credit via Venmo, Apple Pay, and my booking software also offers an opportunity to pay online. You will be able to access your proposal, contract, and invoices through that same software.
What if I am not good at posing?
You don’t have to worry at all! I dedicate time throughout the entire process to get to know you and get comfortable with being around you before the session, if at all possible. I also try my best to keep you comfortable throughout the entire session by keeping us moving and creating a soothing environment. I will guide you, step by step, into every position and gently correct you if something looks awkward, ALL BEFORE I take the shot :).
What happens if a storm comes through?
On the week of our session, I pay attention to the weather and what the outlook is from day to day. If it begins to show signs that our day and time may not work, I will offer to reschedule or ask if you want to risk it. If you choose to risk it, you will be held responsible for the session fee even if we are rained out. Now I will say, rain sessions can be fun and beautiful so don’t count it out completely!
What should I do if my horse is spirited or “hot”?
PLAN AHEAD! I always suggest that you exercise your horse on the day of our session. That may mean he just needs a quick lunge, or that may mean a complete workout. SAFETY is my first priority, so if we need to pause during a session to give your partner a break in his stall or to lunge him because of bad behavior, we will!
Are there travel fees?
Travel fees will be applied if I have to travel more than 30 minutes outside of my hometown of Monroe, NC.
