Welcome

Hi y’all, I am Morgan! I am a daughter of Jesus, a wife, mom, photographer and equine enthusiast! I am so glad that you are here. There are so many things that I could tell you but, here are just a few:

  1. I am a natural light photographer and I use a true-to-color editing style

  2. I want to capture the moments that you never want to forget

  3. I am based in Monroe, NC, and will travel to make sure that your memories last forever.

If you are new here, there are a few things that you need to know about me!

  • I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and I know that He is the author of our lives. He has given me a gift that I need to share with others so that they may come to know Him.

  • I am married to my high-school sweetheart and we have officially been dating over half of my life…over 15 years!

  • I am a blessed mother to our two beautiful girls. They bring me so much joy and laughter everyday.

  • I am one of those crazy horse girls that so many people are afraid of. I love them, they make me crazy and yes, I can control a 1200+ pound animal with just my own body. Some people think that is crazy, but I tend to think I am just confident and coordinated!

Portraits aren’t just pictures, they are moments in time that are printed onto paper or canvas to remind us of an occasion. It is hard for us to remember such times without an image to help us. People say that “a picture is worth a thousand words,” . . . I think it’s worth more!

The relationship between horse and rider is an intangible bond that can’t fully be understood unless you have had that bond yourself. As an equestrian, I understand that bond, and there is no better way to capture it than through photographs. I will never regret having portraits made of me and my first horse, Jet. He is now gone, and I only have those photos to remember him by.

Who.

Morgan is a woman with a dream and desire to capture life for other people. There are moments in life that need to be etched into our lives, and what better way to capture them than through an image. She is a daughter of Jesus Christ, a wife, mom, an equine enthusiast, and has a camera that can capture it all.

What.

There are moments in life that are special . . . graduation, getting engaged, having a baby, a relationship . . . a camera and a passionate human being that wants to capture these moments in time, can make them last forever.

Why.

Two moments in my life have changed the importance of photography for me forever . . . the moment my first horse rode away in a trailer and the moment my sweet Daddy went to heaven. My photographs of each and with them will be cherished forever. Images that have captured a moment in time will only increase in value as time passes, so why not?

I am just a southern girl with a dream and a camera. Having your pictures taken may seem like there is just this girl behind the camera, snapping the shutter. . .but I strive to make the experience more than that. I want you to feel comfortable in front of my lens and I want to get to know you! The before, during and after your session should feel like a friendship just beginning!
